Ice Fishing

I know many of you have never had the chance to try out ice fishing, but if you do its definitely something worth trying. It is so peaceful being out on a large, frozen body of water, surrounded by snow and cold air. There is nothing like the feeling when you hear the ice cracking under your feet, but have no fear, this actually means the ice is expanding! I always think how funny it would be to be a fish, swimming around in the calm water, only to be dragged out of the water to flip onto snow and ice.

Casey and I love to go out - Charlie loves it too. I have attached some photos of our latest jaunt out to Pineview.

Poor charlie, his feet get so cold (not that he would notice, there are too many things to smell to bother with slowing down cuz of the cold). Here I am trying to warm him up.

All I can say is brrrrrrrrr! I guess you could say I'm not much of a winter activity sort of person. ;)
