I figured I should do a quick post to update everyone about my pregnancy progress. My due date is officially Feb 20th. I am somewhat relieved baby has decided not to eat as much during the last few weeks so he hasn't been gaining weight as rapidly. The Dr guesses he is about 7 1/2 lbs as of last week. I have decided not to be "started" a week early. Too close to Valentine's Day, though it doesn't mean baby couldn't make his own decision. Casey told me it would certainly be convenient for him if I had the baby on the 16th. That way he would only have to use 3 days of leave to get 9 days off work. Yeah, no prob sweetness. I'll put in a memo to fetus.
Below are some pics from baby's room. We weren't going to decorate (ie, casey did not want to paint or do anything permanent to the walls). But I saw this border that was simple but cute and he gave in to putting it up. Then I wanted a cute shelf...and some pics. Still fairly resonable if you ask me. And poor baby doesn't have to feel like he is unwelcome.

Wow, his crib is gorgeous!!! I like the simple decorations. I see you finished your blanket. It's very cute. did you make his name blocks?? Did you use hodge podge or something? It's so cute. I guess his name is officially official?? You can start calling him Lincoln instead of fetus now!
Yep finished the quilt, should have taken a closer picture eh? I did make his name blocks with modge podge or whatever that stuff is. Nothing is official until its on the birth cert (well really until we have seen him and are sure the name fits). So we haven't been advertising the name yet, although I don't expect a change.

I like the furniture. I was trying to figure out who is in the pictures on the wall? Is that you and Casey when you were babies? I'm excited to see the little tyke!
yeah, pics are me and casey as babes. i did them up when we got married. thought they'd be cute in his room.
wow, I can't believe it already almost time for you cute little bundle of joy to come to your home!!! I'm sure those nine months were an eternity for you. Post more prego pics soon before you go in to have him! He is going to be adorable
