This is what its come to...

I have been meaning to update for some time but frankly, my life is boring. Lincoln's Dr said RSV is peaking and to keep him away from people. And of course many of our family is sick so we can't even visit them. So I have been stuck at my house taking care of baby. My life rotates between feedings, diaper changes, and naps. Now that's excitement!

To make things more fun, Lincoln has been taking on symptoms of colic for the past week. Last night after 5 hours of crying Casey drove to the store at midnight to try and find something to help. We bought something called Tummy Gripe Water and it seems to help a tiny bit.

For those of you who are mothers, you may want to quit reading now as the next images may bring up bad memories.

This is what I like to call "from 0 to 60..."
Does he look upset or what?!

Just so you know Lincoln isn't all frowny faces, here he is as gangster baby.

oh his sad face is so... SAD! I bet it's hard to deal with him crying a lot. Good luck with that! And I don't know that the "Bear Hugs" outfit makes him look very gangster! But it sure makes him look cute.

Oh, poor little dude.

It gets rough sometimes when you feel like all you do is feed, burp, change, soothe, etc. Not to mention the fact that you feel homebound.

Make sure you take time for yourself too. I know it's hard (especially at the peak of RSV season) but it will help you maintain sanity.

I'm so sad to hear that you guys are going through a little ruff patch. I thought Shae had collic when she was about the same age as Lincoln, then I figured out I didn't have the milk supply to keep up with her....so I wasn't feeding her enough. Eventually I caught up with her little growth spurt, but I remember being so frustrated cuz she did cry a lot. Good luck with the babe!

Just think - you'll be able to give me all sorts of good advice in a few years when I'm going through the same thing! I have Lincoln's birth announcement on my fridge and smile every time I see it. He's a cutie, even if he has his rough days!

Oh no...poor thing! Have a fun couple of months! :D Things get better I promise. Soon he'll be able to sit up, giggle and talk back to you!

Now that is a red mad face!!! That's definitely a 60! He must prefer the gangster-hoodie look. He's chilled in that pic.

0 to 60... love it! Chloe got RSV in Alabama and it was miserable so going out of your way to keep him healthy will be worth it ;) I remember being bored a lot when it was just Kaleb and I. Now I wish I had time to be bored once in a while!
