As part of their 4th of July festivities, our city held a baby contest on Saturday. I entered Lincoln in a couple of categories and out of those he won: Darkest Hair, Most Photogenic, and Looks Most Like Dad. (I can't believe he didn't win chubbiest, I thought it would be a no-brainer). It was so much fun - proud dad and grandma/grandpa sat in the audience cheering on Lincoln. My mother-in-law had prepped Lincoln the night before, telling him he was "going to make all the other babies cry because he was going to win everything." She is so funny. In case you are wondering, we had to have them judged in diapers, because no, I don't make it a habit to take him out in public without clothes on.
The coolest part? Oh yeah, it was when my baby won overall in the contest! Ok, so technically he won in the male division for 0-6 months. And boy did he win in style...
The fun didn't end there though - the local newspaper must have caught wind of my sexy baby cuz Sunday morning we found this:

It's so nice to have our bragging rights go up a notch. Now no one will be able to stand Linc's proud Grandma and Grandpa Taylor.
