On the agenda was homemade caramels. These are trouble; caramels are my weakness. I could probably eat the whole batch and enjoy every second.
Casey and I were out on the town tonight. Shopping around Christmas is never a good idea for me...I will go into a store to buy a gift and it turns into: one for you, one for me. But we had to go since Casey had procrastinated on a gift for his mother. Amazingly the stores were not bad. We'll see how bad the grocery store is in the morning...

My reply, "no, I had better have them now."

mmm caramels are my weakness too, and they're so easy to make with the microwave recipe mom gave me. I always make caramels at Christmas and then I always remember how bad for you they are as I'm adding the ingredients.
