New House: Blooming Flowers and Baby Birds

We have been living in our new house for about 2 weeks. Its been so nice to have so much room to ourselves. Our basement is still filled with boxes that need to be unpacked and there is still more work needed to complete the house (paint doors, hang blinds, grow some grass) but someday it will come together.

Below are some pictures I was so excited about with our new house. When spring came we noticed some plants growing in the flowerbed and were curious to see what they would turn out to be. Just this last week lily's have been blooming.

We also saw there were some birds (swallows) who had built a nest near our front door. Casey's brother offered to knock it down but I suspected there were eggs in the nest and told him to leave it alone (so eager to just kill sweet little birds). Sure enough, again just this week, we have little baby birds! The parents don't love us in and out the door when they are trying to protect their family, and they certainly didn't love me on the ladder trying to get a picture!

Cute birds, I think that would be kinda fun to have them living at your house. I love the look of flowers full in bloom.

I love your new house, I'm just sad that I probably won't see you every week at church anymore.
